Frequently asked questions around our pricing

I’m going to answer some of the frequently asked questions around our pricing and how it works.

1. Pricing

I think that our migration price structure is pretty clear. We charge on a per mailbox basis and payment is required upfront. Receipt of your payment is translated to migration credits.

2. What does a mailbox migration credit include?

One migration credit grants you the following:

  • The ability to migrate one mailbox
  • Transfer up to 10GB of data over the wire for that mailbox. Unused transfer amounts cannot be applied to a different mailbox. i.e. You cannot buy one credit and migrate two 5GB mailboxes.
  • Unlimited number of mailbox items (up to the maximum transfer limit)
  • Unlimited number of folders (up to the maximum transfer limit)
  • No restrictions on the duration of the migration. Whether it takes 10 minutes or 3 days, it doesn’t matter.

3. What happens if my mailbox is greater than 10GB?

If the mailbox is greater than 10GB, the migration will fail with the error “Maximum transfer limit reached” once 10GB has been reached. You may then resubmit the migration (for an additional credit) which will transfer the next 10GB of data. So a 30GB mailbox will require 3 migration credits.

4. What happens if a migration fails?

When you submit a migration, a credit is debited from your account. If the migration fails or is stopped, your account will be credited back automatically.

5. What forms of payment do you accept?

You may purchase as many credits as you like directly from our website using your credit card (VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover).

If you purchase 100 or more migrations, we give you 2 additional options:

  1. We invoice you directly and wire the funds. If you are a partner, you may then invoice your customer for the same amount or a mark-up.
  2. If you are a partner, we can invoice your customer and have them wire the funds to us.
